Janet earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Social Work from Boston University. With over 30 years’ experience as a licensed clinical social worker, she has counseled a variety of clients, including juvenile offenders convicted of hate crimes. An agent of change, in 2021 she spoke before the Massachusetts State Legislature upon the passage of Bill S.2557 mandating genocide education in middle and secondary schools statewide.
